Casumo Casino Review

Casumo is a casino that likes to do things differently.

It provides a thrilling and exciting environment in which to play a huge range of slots, table and live casino games. The emphasis is very much on having fun and making players smile.

It does this by providing a truly world-class experience, from its innovative Casumo Adventure loyalty scheme to daily Reel Races and tons of bonuses and rewards.

Casumo is among a new wave of UK-licensed online casino operators that are setting the standard for others to follow.

Casumo Adventures offers one of the most comprehensive task-based, level-up reward schemes of all UK online casinos.

Design & Layout

During our Casumo casino review, we soon discovered it is no ordinary casino. Since it launched back in 2012 (or 2015 for UK players) it has done things differently and this is no more apparent than in the design and layout of the site.

The homepage is dominated by the Hills of Odd – a vibrant, multi-coloured hill that helps you keep track of your progress through the Casumo universe.

Beneath this interactive illustration you find tabs for other important player features, including Dashboard, Valuables, Trophies, Reel Races and Promotions.

On the left-hand side of the page, there is a black box where you can access your account, the cashier and the game lobby. You can also see your current status and level.

The black box is fixed no matter where you are on the site, so key account features and games are never more than a click away.

The game lobby itself uses a standard grid layout; this makes it easy to navigate the 1,400+ slots, jackpot, table and live casino games offered.

Games can be filtered based on: Top Lists, Slot Machines, Table Games, Jackpots, Must Drop Jackpots and Live Casino. There is also the option to search for titles using keywords.

A great deal of effort has gone in to the design and layout of Casumo and the result is an online casino that offers something truly different.

Game Lobby & Portfolio

Casumo has packed its portfolio with more than 1,400 titles from all the major providers including Microgaming, Scientific Games, Yggdrasil Gaming and Quickspin.

During our Casumo casino review we enjoyed playing a huge range of smash hit slots like Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest, Bonanza, Extra Chilli, Reactoonz and Book of Ra Deluxe.

If you are a fan of jackpot slots, Casumo is the place to be.

Big-name progressives such as Mega Moolah and Mega Fortune are offered alongside the likes of Hall of Gods, Divine Fortune, Cosmic Fortune and Top Cat.

Casumo also offers Must Drop Jackpots from Red Tiger Gaming. These slots must pay out before a predetermined jackpot amount is reach or before a set time of day.

Titles in this category include: Arcade Bomb, Totem Lightning, and Dragon’s Luck.

In terms of table games, the usual staples can be found. This includes blackjack, roulette, poker, baccarat, pontoon and super wheel.

The game lobby also features a solid selection of live casino titles from Evolution Gaming and NetEnt, with blackjack, roulette, poker, baccarat and money wheel variants available.

Mobile Play

Casumo has been designed from day one to offer a compelling and thrilling experience when played from a smartphone or tablet device, and during our Casumo casino review we discovered that it very much delivers in this regard.

You can access the casino by downloading a dedicated app from the Apple App Store or Google Play store, or from any web browser (Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc).

APP

The Casumo app is super sleek and offers one of the best user experiences of all the UK mobile casinos that we have reviewed.

On the app homepage you will find your account, the cashier and the game lobby colour coded with the same green, yellow and orange used on the desktop version of the site.

Click into your account to access your Dashboard, Valuables and Reel Races – here you can also keep track of your progress on the Hills of Odd.

The same payment methods are offered through the app as on desktop including mobile payment providers such as Boku and MuchBetter.

The option to deposit is only ever one click away no matter where you are on the app.

Casumo’s mobile casino game lobby is equally impressive – most of the 1,400+ titles available on desktop can also be found when playing via the app.

The Casumo app also boasts some impressive features, such as FaceID log-in for those using compatible Apple devices.

BROWSER

The experience you receive when playing Casumo through your mobile web browser is not quite as smooth and polished as when playing through the app, but it is still impressive.

You lose features such as FaceID log-in and games are a little slower to load, but all the key features and functionality that make the Casumo mobile app so good remain.

In short, if you have a compatible device then play via the app but if you don’t then fear not as you will still receive a near-flawless mobile casino experience.

Bonuses & Promotions

The Casumo welcome package is a deposit match bonus of 100% up to £300, plus 20 free spins on NetEnt’s Starburst.

You can choose to accept one or both parts of the offer, and it is worth pointing out that you must manually opt-in – the bonuses will not be assigned automatically.

The minimum deposit required to unlock the bonus is £10 and the welcome package comes with a wagering requirement of x30.

In terms of the deposit match element of the welcome offer, both the bonus money and any winnings from the bonus money are subject to the x30 wagering requirement.

If you accept the 20 free spins, you will have to wager winnings x30 before they can be withdrawn as cash.

Casumo does not impose a time limit to complete wagering requirements and you can withdraw from your deposit balance at any time.

If you do prior to completing the wagering requirement you will forfeit any remaining bonus money and any winnings from it.

In addition to the welcome package, Casumo awards players with regular promotions and bonuses which it refers to as “Valuables”.

You can find these under the “Valuables” tab in your player account area.

What’s more, Casumo runs daily Reel Race tournaments which last for either 20 minutes or 50 minutes. Simply enter a tournament, pick an eligible game and earn points for your play.

Points are awarded as follows:

Standard win – 2 points

Three wins in a row – 5 points

Big win – 20 points

Two big wins – 35 points

Mega win – 100 points

The more points you earn, the higher up the leader board you climb. Prizes include free spins and cash and come with no wagering requirements.

It is worth pointing out that each tournament limits players to 150 spins – you will not earn points for any additional spins made.

Loyalty Scheme

Casumo has developed one of the most imaginative task-based, level-up loyalty schemes of all online casinos available to players in the UK, the Casumo Adventure.

When you first open your account, you give birth to a little “Casumo” with a rope around its waist – the rope symbolises the beginner level.

As you clear more levels, your Casumo is awarded with different coloured belts – white, yellow, red, purple and black.

The Casumo Adventure sees players complete tasks to earn points and collect trophies, of which there are more than 900 in total.

The more points you earn the more levels you clear and the more prizes – or “Valuables” as Casumo calls them – you unlock, including deposit bonuses, free spins and cash.

It is worth noting that any winnings from bonus money or free spins are subject to a x30 wagering requirement.

During our Casumo casino review we discovered that the operator does not impose a time limit on completing wagering requirements, but if you make a withdrawal before playing through them you will forfeit any remaining bonus money.

Banking

At Casumo, you will find all of the major payment methods as well as mobile-payment options Boku and MuchBetter.

The table below shows those available to UK players as well as the deposit and withdrawal limits and any fees you may have to pay.

Payment method Min deposit Min withdrawal  Fees
Visa £10 £10 N/A
Mastercard £10 £10 N/A
Skrill £10 £10 N/A
Neteller £10 £10 N/A
Paysafecard £10 N/A N/A
Boku £10 £10 N/A
MuchBetter £10 £10 N/A
Bank transfer £10 £10 N/A

The operator promises super-fast deposits and withdrawals. Casumo says its average transactions times are:

Debit and credit cards: 1-5 working days
Bank transfers: 1-5 working days
eWallets: Instant

Like all UK-licensed online casinos, Casumo keeps player funds in a separate bank account to operational funds.

The operator says it has taken steps to “protect customer funds”, but there is “no absolute guarantee” that all funds will be repaid in the event it goes bust.

This meets the Gambling Commission’s requirement for the segregation of funds at the level of “medium protection” and means that your money is well protected.

Customer Support

Casumo’s customer support team is one of the best in the industry.

You can contact agents through email or live chat, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The agents we spoke with during our Casumo casino review were highly knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to answer our questions and resolve any issues we had promptly and satisfactorily.

Security and Fairness

Casumo says it goes to great lengths to safeguard your personal information and ensure any data it holds on you is properly protected.

As the operator is based in Malta, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to the data it collects and how that data is stored and processed.

Casumo also promises to never sell your information to third parties.

In terms of security, all financial transactions are sent over a secure connection using the same powerful SSL used by financial institutions and banks.

Its payment methods are also Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard compliant for additional peace of mind.

When it comes to fairness, Casumo uses a random number generator (RNG) to decide the outcome of all games. Its RNG is regularly tested by an independent third party.

This means you can be certain that game outcomes are honest and fair, and that the RNG is working as it should be.

Anything hidden in the Terms and Conditions?

Not really – during our Casumo casino review we read the terms and conditions thoroughly and found them to be fairly standard and not to include anything that will catch you out.

That said, it is worth reiterating the wagering requirement on the deposit bonus aspect of the welcome package.

Casumo stipulates that both the bonus money and any winnings from the bonus money are subject to a x30 wagering requirement.

You also have 72 hours from opening your account to submit your verification documents for ID checking and approval. If you don’t your account could be suspended until you do.

Conclusion

Since it was first launched to UK players back in 2015, Casumo has not been frightened to do things differently.

It was one of the first casinos to be based around a theme – a colourful and crazy parallel universe – and to offer players a task-based, level-up rewards scheme.

It has combined this with a vast casino game lobby packed with 1,400+ titles from all the major providers as well as the start-ups and innovators making waves.

It also excels at the basics from generous bonuses and promotions, to fast payments, world-class customer support and a genuine approach to responsible gambling.

Casumo truly is one of the best online casinos available to players in the UK and one of our absolute favourite places to wager.
